Mhiship Community and Cultural Development Association (MCCDA)

We the people of Mhiship, conscious of our rights, duties, need to unite and maintain close contact between us and the wider society,
desirious to pursue justice, democratic principles, fair play within and outside Mhiship land, having resolved to establish an association, re-appraising and rededicating ourselves to the pursuit of the aims and objects of the Association in order to build a strong, virile and dynamic body.

The Mhiship people, also known as Chip, trace their ancestry to migrations from regions around the Chad Basin, moving through Kanem-Bornu before settling in the present-day Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The Mhiship Skill Acquisition Centre

we’re transforming lives through vocational training and innovation.
Funded by MCCDA and generous diaspora contributions, this state-of-the-art facility equips Mhiship youth and women with the skills to thrive in today’s economy.

The Mhiship Community Skills Development and Empowerment Center aims to equip youth from Mhiship and nearby communities with practical and relevant skills, especially for those without access to formal education. It seeks to bridge the gap between knowledge and practical application, addressing the lack of technical skills among young people.
