Economic Empowerment

Empowering Through Skills and Training

At the heart of the Mhiship Community and Cultural Development Association (MCCDA) is a vision to create a self-reliant, prosperous community. A key part of achieving this vision is economic empowerment through skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development.

Our Skills Development and Empowerment Center serves as a hub for vocational training, digital literacy, and practical education. We focus on empowering youths, women, and other community members with marketable skills in areas like ICT, agriculture, fashion, crafts, and technical trades—giving them the tools to become job creators rather than job seekers.

Building a Sustainable Economic Future

Economic empowerment also means creating lasting opportunities for financial growth and inclusion. MCCDA supports small businesses, cooperative societies, and start-up initiatives by providing access to training, mentorship, and in the future, seed funding and microloans.

By promoting entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods, we aim to reduce poverty, build wealth within our community, and create a resilient local economy where everyone has a chance to thrive and contribute meaningfully.
