Meet Mhiship’s First and only Female Naval Officer of the NDA

Lt. Patience Enret Miyaptong was born on the 2 Nov, 1991 to the family of Mr and Mrs Miyaptong Data.

She hails from Chip District of Pankshin LGA of Plateau state. She had her early education in Langtang; was privilege to gain scholarship to attend an International Exchange programme for a year in the United States of America and also attended Federal Government Girls College,Langtang, Langtang North where she obtained her Senior Certificate Examination (SSCE) with flying colours.

Patience Enret Miyaptong gained admission into the prestigious Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) Kaduna in 2011 and passed out in 2016 as pioneer set of female cadets of NDA and graduated as one of the best (Silver Medal Navy) in her set with B.Sc in Biological Sciences.

She is currently a lieutenant in the Nigeria Navy based in Lagos, Nigeria

She has so far, attended the following Courses in her career: Sub-Lieutenant Technical course, Officers Long course and Junior staff course amount others.

She is happily married and the union is blessed with two sons.

Her hobbies include watching intellectual and adventurous movies, swimming and listening to gospel music.
