
Meet Mr. Damuut Plangnan David: First Plateau Indigene as Chairman, Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN).

Mr. Damuut Plangnan David has emerged victorious as the Chairman of the Association of Medical Laboratory Scientists of Nigeria (AMLSN), Federal College of Medical Laboratory Science and Technology (FCMLST), the first indigene from Plateau State to break such jinx since the inception of the school in 1978.
Mr. Damuut Plangnan David is a personality many have described as a father,mentor, a scientist and a humanity with great passion and enthusiasm at what he does.
Born to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Peter Dakyen Damuut about five decades ago in JepniyahaI, Chip District of Pankshin LGA of Plateau State, Mr. Damuut Plangnan David Peter attended LGEA Nadu (Jepniyahal) where he obtained his first primary school leaving certificate and proceeded to Government College Gindiri (now CCC Gindiri) for his Junior Secondary Education. There after, he proceeded to the Prestigious Government College Pankshin and obtained his Senior Secondary Education Certificate.
Mr. Damuut Plangnan David later proceeded to Ebonyi State University and graduated in 2009, as a Medical Laboratory Scientist .
In his quest for further knowledge, Mr. Damuut Plangnan David Obtained a Post Graduate Degree; M.Sc in Haematology from the Usman Danfodiyo University Sokoto in 2019.
He joined the services of the Federal College of Medical Lab Science and Technology Jos in 2013 as Medical Laboratory Scientist II, and has rose to the rank of Chief Medical Lab Scientist as it stands today.
