
Mhiship Community in Bwari Area Council, FCT Abuja gets New Chief

History was made on the 12th July, 2025 in Bwari Municipal Area as the Mhiship community received with joy their new chief, Nda Alexander Latban Dafohot as he was coronated as the new Miskaham Mhiship of Bwari.
The event took place at the palace of the Esu Nupe, HRH. Dr. Ibrahim Yaro (JP).
The grand event also saw the coronation of the ethnic chiefs for the Afizere, Berom, Pan, Ngas and Irigwe communities in Bwari Area Council. All coronated chief were presented by the Plateau Chief, Bwari, Chief (MWO) James Akawu Rtd.
Commendations were made by various dignitaries on the coronated chiefs with a called on them to uphold the highest level of integrity and justice in ruling over the affairs of their communities and to avoid involving themselves in partisan politics especially where it will lead to divisive tendencies amongst their community members.
In his remarks, the new Miskaham Mhiship of Bwari Area Council expressed his joy for all contributions made both in prayers and financially towards the success of his coronation as MISKAHAM MHISHIP COMMUNITY IN BWARI, FCT ABUJA.
The event was graced by several chiefs , notable amongst which are HRH. Nda Long Mhiship represented by Nda Kahwap Bala Makah; Dunggwan Community represented by Nda Nuwang Simdi Wesley Damirim; MCCDA National body represented by the National President, Nda Martin Ayuba Dapel; HRH Nda John Dape Shanwa, Miskaham Mhiship FCT Abuja; MCCDA Chairman FCT ABUJA , Mr. Dayi Damulak Dateer JP. and Mhiship sons, daughters and wives resident in Abuja and beyond.
Highlights of the occasion includes: coronation ceremony, goodwill messages, refreshment, photographs among others.
