
Mhiship Son Emerges as UK Plateau State Association’s Publicity Secretary

An illustrious son of Mhiship, Mr. Sendi Zachariah has been elected as the Publicity Secretary/Public Relations Officer (PRO), of the Plateau State Association, United Kingdom (PSA UK).
Mr. Sendi was elected following a general election of the association conducted on Friday, 10th of July, 2025 in the United Kingdom.
He pulled a total of of 72 votes to defeat his rival who got 43 votes after a keenly contested election.
Mr. Sendi’s victory reflects the trust and confidence reposed in him by the members of the Plateau State Association UK, being a passionate communicator and a dedicated advocate of peace, unity and heritage.
Sendi, a proud son of Mhiship, one of the tribes from Pankshin Local Government Area of Plateau State, Nigeria, brings vision, commitment, integrity and representation for the PSA UK.
The general election conducted by the Plateau State Association, United Kingdom; elected other executives and they include: Dr.Solomon Chollom (President); Amina Asanga-Rae (Vice President); Ken Dabliong (General-Secretary).
Other elected members are: Kaweng Dantong (Assistant Secretary); Gibson Chun (Financial Secretary); Ben Daniel (Auditor); Mrs. Deborah Maren-Dashe (Treasurer); Mrs. Christy Yop Ominnu (Welfare Secretary); Dr. Vullong Kwarkas (Social Secretary); and Mr. Sendi Zacharia (Public Relations Officer) respectively.
The election also had four EX-Officio Members elected to serve in the association.
While declaring the election as free, fair and transparent; Chairman of the electoral Committee, Dr. Maren Dangut noted that candidates with highest valid votes were elected and declared the winners of the election.
