
The Culture 9JA Reality TV Show Unveils in Jos: promotes cultural heritage of Nigeria.

It was a weekend of pomp, pageantry and cultural display on Saturday at Langfield Hotel, Little Rayfield in Jos,Plateau State at the unveiling of Culture 9ja Reality TV show.
The event was aimed at showcasing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage especially tribes from Plateau State and the promotion of youth talents for the world to see.
Organisers said the purpose of the reality TV show was to provide an alternative entertainment to Big Brother9ja which they believed do not conform with Nigeria’s norms and values.
The Mhiship Cultural and Community Development Association (MCCDA) were not left out of the reality show as five of it’s youths were present at the event, led by Nda. Dakwam Ninret Nansat.
Others included: Sendi Dauda, Moses Zungdet, Nankat Dennis, Plangnan Elisha Shikmuut and Shinpenan Shetang.
The reality show also awarded the best performing cultural group to the “IBASS” ethnic group from Barkin Ladi LGA of Plateau. The occasion gave the ethnic nationalities a wider popularity.
Many Plateau ethnic group had opportunity during the show to display their cultural food, attires, crafts, cultural troupes, talents show.
The event was also had dignitaries such as the Plateau State Commissioner for Youth and Sports, Hon. Musa Ashoms; the Secretary of the Plateau Initiative for the Advancement of the Natives (PIDAN); traditional rulers; Middle Belt Nollywood Ambassador amongst others.
The reality TV show was lived streamed on the MCCDA digital content as part of it’s support to showcase and promote cultural visibility globally.
