
Mhiship Community Cultural Development Association (MCCDA) gets New EXCO
The new EXCO of the Mhiship Community Cultural Development Association, Jos South Branch has been inaugurated. The inauguration took place on Saturday 13th January 2024 at Sabon Barki, Jos South LGA of Plateau State.
National President of the Mhiship Community Cultural Development Association, C. C Martin A. Dapel (Retired) called for unity especially after the Supreme Court Judgement that affirmed Governor Caleb Mutfwang as the duly elected Governor of Plateau State. He stressed the need to ensure that harmonious living continue among all, irrespective of political differences now that litigations have ended. He used the opportunity to thank members for the support for his leadership, pointing out that the successes recorded by the association under his leadership, which include the completion and roofing of the Miship Community Hall in chip was as a result of the overwhelming support he has enjoyed so far. He prayed for more as continues.
Earlier, in his remarks Miskaham Mhiship Jos South, Nda Yusuf Dabis welcomed all mhiship sons and daughters in jos south and thank the outgoing EXCOS and encourage the newly elected EXCOS to try their best to take everyone along and welcome MCCDA. The newly elected EXCO were sworn in by Barr. Miss Yusuf Dabis. The new Chairman Mr Shamdung Ayuba Jepla assured that he will cooperate with his EXCO to see that MCCDA Jos South is one of the best branches of MCCDA.
There was a good will message from the Former Member Representing Pankshin South, Hon. Ezra Dakup who encourage the newly elected exco to shun criticism from members and prioritize the project of building a hall since the community had already purchased land.
