APC Primaries: Lalong, Gagdi, Beni wins; New and Former Entry Emerges

The APC Chairman of the Plateau State Primaries Election Committee, Hon. Stella Okotete has announced the results of the Just concluded APC Primaries elections for the House of Representatives and the Senate conducted by the party.
Former Plateau State governor, Simon Bako Lalong won for Plateau Southern zone, Simon Mwadkwon emerged for Plateau Northern Zone and a new entry; Businessman, David Bitrus Barji won the senatorial seat defeating the incumbent, Senator Diket Plang for Plateau Central zone respectively.
Hon. Beni Lar clinched the ticket for the House of Representative of Langtang North/South constituency defeating the incumbent alongside Hon. Musa Bagos picking the ticket for Jos South /Jos East seat. Hon Yusuf Gagdi also emerged winner for the Pankshin /kanam/Kanke federal constituency to lay to rest conflicting results from the social media earlier made public.
Hon. Maje Wase was declared the party’s flag bearer for Wase Federal Constituency while new emergence was seen for Quaán Pan/Mikang/Shendam constituency with Joshua Dashe emerging as winner defeating the incumbent, Hon. John Dafaan. Also Abubakar Sadiq Plaza won through a consensus to represent the party for Jos/Bassa constituency.
Meanwhile the APC primaries election in the coming days would see who would represent the party in the State House of Assemblies and the Governorship ticket amidst controversies from some aggrieved members of the party who complaint of imposition of candidates and election not taking place in many wards across the state.
